| I think that this could be a fun off topic topic about something that touches or lives everyday--and that we either love or hate, often times hate: the weather. Feel free to vent your frustrations, or what makes you happy about the weather out your window. In Mansfield where I live, it sucks. It's winter, it's snowing with about 5-7 inches to come down by tomorrow night, it's fuckin' cold, it sucks ass. And most of the US isn't really much better. Only the deep south and southeast are much better off. It's only marginally warmer in Baton Rouge than here. Ironically, right now Baton Rouge is expericing weather similar to Forks, Washington does. Did Summit bribe the weather gods? It's ironic that Audi wants to test their R18 racing car in the US, namely in Florida. But then again, much of Germany is packed in snow. So what's the weather in your part of the world? Love it or hate it, it is what it is and we might as well make the best of it, as I am now, by staying the fuck home The weather any better for anyone here? | |

| I can see how you can get frustrated in winter. I live in NY. Snow turns into dirt fast. There were some stay "home” days, not more than 2. My friend has pre- teen kids and she blesses the winter. It is the best season for working mothers. Guilt free. You don’t have to feel guilty that kids stay home with AC blasting icy air and you are not there to take them to the beach or park or just to the streets. Kids are escorted here everywhere. During winter children don’t drive you crazy looking for attractions. Everybody without a comment heads home and says cozy and happy with their lap tops. We have to drive 1.5 hr to go skiing. Got way to fall in love with snow. Well, I took my X – mas tree down on Feb. 2 nd ,just to keep the winter moods up.
